We at Bail USA are always looking for ways to better support our bail agents.

Cheryl Burns and Harvey Childs are pleased to announce that Mike Donovan has joined the company as its Director of Government Affairs. Serving as the company's principle legislative advocate in the United States for bail agents and commercial bail interests, Mike brings over a decade of experience working in government and politics.

Harvey and I are thrilled to welcome Mike Donovan as our new Director of Government Affairs. His understanding of legislative issues affecting bail agents and his experience in successfully representing bail agents in Virginia during his work with Virginians for the Preservation of Bail makes Mike the right choice for growing and expanding a potent and viable Government Affairs Division of Bail USA.

Previously, Donovan served as the Political Director for Virginians for the Preservation of Bail. He also worked as Vice President of Political Affairs for True Vantage Management Services, and has worked in and managed political campaigns in Virginia and across the United States. He has held key roles in campaigns at the local, state, and national level.

“This position plays an important role in helping to guarantee that bail agents are represented appropriately across the Country” Donovan said. Bail USA is an industry leader in bail and this move will provide an opportunity for the company to provide additional leadership. Moving forward, Bail USA's Government Affairs Division will act to protect and preserve commercial bail in the United States and to represent the interests of Bail USA bail agents.

A Virginia native, Donovan currently serves on the board of Americans for the Preservation of Bail. He received his Bachelors degree from City College and his Masters from Andover Theological Seminary.
