November 2016

On the road again!

It has been awhile since my last update! I was home most of the month of October, the exception being the Bail USA convention in Indianapolis. If you missed the convention you missed a good time. Everyone in attendance thought it was very informational and fun. They loved Indianapolis!

This last week Tim and I have been from Las Vegas to Carson City and Reno Nevada then Northwest to Redding and Weaverville California. We then traveled down through Napa Valley (yes I drank some good wine). We spent time in San Jose, Redwood City, San Francisco, Contra Costa County then South to Portersville and many areas in between. I enjoyed each meeting with our bail agents, I am honored to have such a great group of people to work with. I loved every moment!

My spotlight of the week was my lunch with Reed McInroy. Reed just successfully was exonerated from a large bond forfeiture that he worked diligently on for about six months. It was a case that was very frustrating for him. But finally, Reed was able to turn the defendant into the jail and with the help of Joe Lombardo of HCC, filed a motion and received his exoneration.

Reed began his career as a recovery agent in California. When he wanted to write bail he was mentored by Lee Eakin of San Jose. Lee retired several years ago to Palm Desert, but Reed continues to grow his business. I want to thank Reed for being a part of the Bail USA team, and congratulate him for being my spotlight for this week. I appreciate your professionalism and transparency in the bail industry.

As I write this we are traveling to the Los Angeles area. With any luck we will see everyone in California by Thursday and move on to visit our people in Arizona.

Again, I would like to thank everyone for their hospitality during my visit with each of you. I am blessed to have such good friends and business associates.
