Jon Schneider - Senior Vice President
Jon joined the Tokio Marine HCC (“TMHCC”) Surety Group in April 2011 to oversee the bail bond unit in Los Angeles. In February 2012, Jon’s responsibilities expanded to include the court bond unit, which focuses on fiduciary, probate, and judicial proceeding bonds. Jon played the lead role in the targeting and acquisition of Bail USA in February, 2016. He is a member of the executive management team at TMHCC and reports to the president. His financial, insurance, and surety background make him uniquely qualified to oversee the consolidated bail and court operations. He looks forward to continuing the Bail USA culture, merging together agency networks, and developing and empowering the combined management team in serving our great agents.
Jon’s professional career began in public accounting where he ascended to senior manager at KPMG, LLP’s Los Angeles Assurance Practice. At KPMG, he focused entirely on property & casualty and health insurance clients. Jon’s career eventual led him to assume an executive role with the Danielson Insurance Group, based in Long Beach, California. He quickly earned the confidence of the board and assumed the role of president. He actively managed the MGA relationships responsible for underwriting Danielson’s non-standard private passenger automobile programs. He later launched an initiative to start up a surety operation. Although Danielson was targeting contract and commercial surety agency relationships, Jon was fortunate to develop a business relationship with the largest retail bail agency in California; in doing so Danielson became one of the largest bail surety writers in 2008.
Jon and his wife, Nicola, were married in 2002; they currently reside in a coastal community in Southern California. Outside of work, Jon is focused on his golf game and volunteers at several non-profit organizations. He is also a fan of sports and has experience coaching youth basketball.
